Perth Scorchers destroy Sydney Thunder in a one sided affair

Sydney Thunder won the toss and elected to bat. Everyone was expecting Gayle to fire but unlike his previous matches, he just managed to score 20 in 16 balls. The rest of the team however, continued with their past record and fell like a deck of cards. Armstrong remained the top scorer with 25 runs. The whole team was bundled out for 99 in 19.2 overs. Coulter-Nile took 3 wickets including Gayle's crucial wicket, Hogg took 2 wickets and Rimmington took 1.

For Perth Scorchers, Ronchi failed to score while North and Marsh did the job in just 14.1 overs by scoring 38 and 64 respectively. Marsh was in an exceptionally good form and hit 5 sixes.

Perth Scorchers beat Sydney Thunder by 9 wickets in a totally one sided game.
