Perth Scorchers beat Brisbaine Heat by 10 runs

Perth Scorchers had won the toss and elected to bat. The day saw one of the best opening partnerships of the series with Gibbs and North on the crease. Gibbs scored 38 of just 22 balls while North scored 40 of just 29 balls.  Marsh did well to score a quick 33 of 21 balls. However, the remaining batsmen did not manage to get the run rate ticking and fell cheaply. The one projected score of 200 runs was reduced to 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Brisbaine Heat started on a shaky note when they lost Lynn but Hayden and Forrest got things on track as each scored 33 and 59 respectively. None of the remaining batsmen could continue the good work and the Heats managed to score just 152/6 in their allotted 20 overs.

Perth Scorchers won the match by 10 runs.
