Hobart Hurricanes beat Adelaide Strikers

Hobart Hurricanes got everything right today, right from the toss, to great batting partnerships, to extremely good bowling. The top order contributed well as Wells scored 31, Jaques 41, Birt 44 and Shah at 36. Both Birt and Shah hit the ball extremely well and hit 3 sixes each to uplift the score to 171/4.

Adelaide Strikers started well but kept losing wickets frequently. The 62 run 5th wicket partnership between Borgas and Cooper did get them closer to the Hurricanes total. The star bowler for the Hurricanes' Doherty did the trick for them as he took the 2 crucial wickets of openers Blizzard and Klinger apart from Richardson and O'Brian. Doherty took these 4 wickets and conceded just 17 runs in his allotted 4 overs.

Hobart hurricanes beat Adelaide Strikers by 14 runs.
